About Project

The webpage www.zeleneobce.sk is a website of the national project called “The improving of biodiversity by the elements of green infrastructure in the Slovakian Communities - The Green Slovakian Communities”. The web page is used for the project dissemination activities, as well as the platform for the information and documents for the applicants and the public.

National project The Green Slovakian Communities is led by Slovak Environment Agency. The project is co-financed by the Cohesion Fund within the Operational Programme Quality of Environment. The main aim of the national project is preservation and recovery of the biodiversity and ecosystems outside of the protected areas. The project will improve the quality of the environment and at the same time, it will support the functions of developed areas - climatic, soil protection, water protection and environmental function.
